VIAVI Portable Transport Analyzer (JDSU) MTS-5800

JDSU MTS-5800 is a portable transport analyzer for installation and operation of Carrier Ethernet networks. It supports both traditional and state-of-the-art network technologies used in building Metro, Core and Mobile Backhaul networks.

The most compact analyzer with 10G support allows installation and maintenance of transport networks at any stage of the life cycle. It is designed for technical professionals who are involved in verifying the correctness of equipment settings, diagnostics of end-to-end data transfer over the network, configuring tunnels, supporting Ethernet OAM, and ensuring compliance with SLA agreements. The J-Complete set of automatic tests, traffic capture and decoding, and the built-in J-Mentor expert system will help engineers perform service diagnostics at any level of the OSI model.

The JDSU MTS-5800 meets the needs of today and also supports new technologies such as Sync Ethernet and 1588v2 PTP used in synchronization in Ethernet-based telecommunication networks.
