The TUMTEC TC-6S is used for splicing any type of optical fiber. Compact dimensions and light weight make this chipper one of the most mobile of its kind. The TUMTEC TC-6S chipper is equipped with a hard impact-resistant (or soft) case for transportation and a container for collecting chipped fibers. A 24-position movable circular knife allows you to make up to 48,000 chippings, and one division, adjustable in height, is designed for no less than 2,000 chippings of optical fiber.

Fiber splitting is done with one push of a button. The reduced cap size and wide opening angle facilitate fiber loading and improve stability.

The TUMTEC TC-6S chipper can also be used to work with ribbon fibers. This device will become your indispensable assistant in working with optical fiber in "mobile" mode.
