The FITEL S179A automatic fiber optic core alignment splicer performs high quality splicing in seconds and introduces the lowest possible splice loss even in harsh field conditions. **IPX2 rating means that liquid dripping onto the machine at a rate of 3 mm/min at 4 different angles changing by 15° every 2.5 minutes will not affect the functionality of the machine.
***IP5X dust rating means that exposure to dust particles with a diameter of 0.1 - 25 microns for 8 hours will not affect the functionality of the device.
