Aeroflex (Willtek) 4202R was developed specifically for railroad and public safety applications, which are based on the VGCS and GSM-R standards. This device can be used when checking the installed radio equipment in the driver's cab, as well as during the repair and final testing of GSM-R terminals.

The 4202R is powered by a rechargeable battery, making it truly mobile. These characteristics allow railway services to test not only GSM-R terminals, but also to test important peripheral devices such as indicators or sirens of incoming emergency calls.

Peculiarities:

  • GSM-R frequency range
  • Group Voice Call Service (VGCS)
  • Emergency calls over VGCS
  • Group ID, call priority
